Banned.

I've been banned from www.dawgsports.com for being awesome. It was either that or for posting a comment that read something along the lines of

"Good luck not getting annihilated on Saturday" and "How much does it suck to be a pup?"

If you're a follower of my blog, you know that the above statements are pretty benign. I didn't say anything about their mothers, daughters, or the like. We talk shit. It's college sports. Don't take it personally.

In fact, I happen to like the state of Georgia. I was considering going to school there before I removed my head from my ass and went to Eden-- sorry, Gainesville. I've also enjoyed my fair share of Georgia peaches in Jacksonville. They were lovely. I've drank and partied with Dawgs, from what I remember, it was cool.

But, come on, banning someone for posting an adverse comment about the Dawgs. That's just vaginal on all counts.

So tired of hearing about how great you people once were. It's like those old men who insist on regaling everyone with how good they used to be at some sport.

No one cares. If you're not doing it today, it doesn't matter. If we used the logic of the Hurricanes then I'd have to say that Notre Dame is the shit.

Notre Dame has 13 national championships. Is Miami "better" than Notre Dame? Actually, that one's arguable.

Let's use someone else. How about Minnesota? They have 6 national championships. So Minnesota is better than Miami.

I understand. It hurts to be irrelevant. If you lose today, talk about how you won yesterday. The scary thing you should be worried about is that you may never win tomorrow. FIU will.

STOP LIVING IN THE PAST

Like I told M. and Jota 2 days ago.

"There ain't no back in the day, nigga. Ain't no nostalgia to this shit here. There's just the street and the game and what happen here today."

5 is better than 2...is this guy serious...talk about living in the past...when was their last one, 1980? that's just embarassing...how about 15 out of 18...does that ring a bell? It seems a little more relevant to me.

I'll be down there this weekend...dropping biscuits on the floor for the lady bulldogs.

"Ain't nobody got nothing to say about a 40-degree day. Fifty. Bring a smile to your face. Sixty, shit, niggas is damn near barbecuing on that motherfucker. Go down to 20, niggas get their bitch on. Get their blood complaining. But forty? Nobody give a fuck about 40. Nobody remember 40, and y'all niggas is giving me way too many 40-degree days!"
- Russell "Stringer" Bell, THE WIRE

We can play with the numbers all we want. Yea, you won more recently than we did (we did win in 2001), and yea, you beat us earlier this year (finally, after nearly a quarter century). But, you want to say here and now?? You choked this year against Ole Miss, you have to beat Georgia, and then Bama, plus you need Penn State and the Big 12 teams to lose??? Good fucking luck. Talk all the shit you want about how you're better than us now, it's still a "40 degree day" without a championship this year. And we still have 5 (while we are all alive) to your 2. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
