WWBD?

If…..

-You could walk on water

-Learned the art of breaking down film at the age of 9

-Held to honor of being the only head coach in NFL history to win 3 Super Bowls within 4 years.

-Ate deadly Costa Rican poisonous dart frogs instead of skittles

-Boasted being 2nd in NFL playoff wins only trailing a gridiron great whose name alone denotes championship ( Vince Lombardi )

Where would you go for advice?

Would you climb the highest peak to find a sage and study the Foundational Practices of Tibetan Buddhism?

Would you hike into the depths of the Amazon to drink Ayahuasca in eager search of enlightenment?

You could possibly crash a Mensa meeting to pick the brains of humans who score at the 98th percentile on a standardized IQ test.

Nah fuck that...

When the Mastermind wizard donning the cut-off sweatshirt named Bill Belichick needs some tips on X’s and O’s he skips over the regulars: Bill Parcells, Stephen Hawking, Charlie Weis, Mike Shanahan, Bobby Fischer

He calls Urban Meyer.

And he leaves a message, because our football coach doesn’t have time to focus on anything else besides Gator Football. This is Urban warfare.....fuck the hospitality.

Belichek and Meyer are boys. He would watch the Gators practice and vice-versa. Sick. Now if only more Gators would get drafted to play w/ New England. That would be saweee. Tom Brady is hot. go gators.

Bellichick is a ruthless dick, but he's a winner.

Urben on the other hand is a well rounded human being who cares about his kids, has increased the team graduation rate/gpa every year he has been there and also happens to be great coach -- but he gets the most out of his players because he takes a personal interest in them as people first.

Trust me, I read the book and drink the cool-aid daily.

I agree. Bill, like Urban, is a winner.

I had an argument a couple of days ago with some UM fans. They can't stand Meyer. I mean, they really hate him. This can only mean that UF is doing well, and UM fans are intimidated by Meyer.

It's the same with Belichick. Teams hated him. Granted, he got caught taping the signals. But that just means he got caught, not that he was the only one doing it.

UM fans contend that Meyer is a dirty recruiter. They heard it on 790 The Ticket, so, you know, it's gotta be true. A good retort is that UM has been landing their best recruiting classes in ages. If Meyer was a dirty recruiter, then it's obviously not effective in taking away Miami recruits since they all go to the Who.

Then why isn't Miami winning? Well, because they don't have someone like Meyer-- that is, a winner. Gone are the days that talent alone carried the day on the field. The game is more complex now. UM's monopoly on speed has been broken.

Their terribly embarrassing loss to Ohio State made that evident. UM had probably the best team ever compiled and they were neutralized by an physically-inferior but strategy-superior Ohio State.

Just like Meyer said, talent can get you so far, leadership will get you further, add a little luck, and you can get to a championship.

You know you're doing well when they're hating.

Go Hate.
Go Gators.
